A bit early for this, but this is to announce that most of the SCE COLLADA team will be taking off the next two weeks, and wanted to wish the COLLADA community great holiday !
In the mean time make sure to brush up your Japanese reading the 1.4.1 spec now translated 
Also, the plan is for a 1.4.1 updated release not to be published early next week on the Khronos web site. It will contain a lot of clarifications, in particular about animation curves.
