glut installation

Hi

I am trying to install glut-3.7 on my linux system.Iam getting the
following errors:

…/…/lib/glut/libglut.so: undefined reference to glXQueryChannelRectSGIX' ../../lib/glut/libglut.so: undefined reference to glXBindChannelToWindowSGIX’
…/…/lib/glut/libglut.so: undefined reference to glXQueryChannelDeltasSGIX' ../../lib/glut/libglut.so: undefined reference to glXChannelRectSGIX’
…/…/lib/glut/libglut.so: undefined reference to `glXChannelRectSyncSGIX’

What do I do for these errors?
Pls reply asap.

Try freeglut instead.
