gluPerspective and glFrustum...

hi all,
i wud like to know that which one of the 2 is more preferable since both the functions are used for perspective projection.

thanx

This is your choise. The gluPerspective function taks another arguments (this arguments is more convinient), and then calls glFrustum. Instead this glFrustum can make more perspective effects. See RedBook for details

And the gluPerspective include scene moving and rotation, glFrustum don’t

Here is the link about this: http://www.rush3d.com/reference/opengl-redbook-1.1/chapter03.html

The functionality of gluPerspective is a strict subset of glFrustum. It does not include rotation, and exactly the same amount of translation as glFrustum. You’re probably thinking of gluLookAt.

Oh, sorry!!!
