glGetDoublev problem

I’m trying to get the current modelview matrix, so I have

GLdouble objectMatrix[16];

//a bunch of translations/rotations
glGetDoublev(GL_MODELVIEW, objectMatrix);

however, even though I went through a fair number of transformations, objectMatrix is full of only 0s. I’m stumped as to why it’s doing this. Any ideas?

Wrong symbol. Try:

glGetDoublev ( GL_MODELVIEW_MATRIX , modelview );
