GLAUX on Mac OS X

Looking at NeHe’s tutorials and the Red Book (will need to be able to code GL for next school year), and I can’t find any reference to glaux.h on Mac… it’s kinda needed for a simple intro to texturing.

Thanks in advance.

It’s not needed for a simple introduction to texturing, and none of the Mac ports of NeHe’s tutorials use it.

I believe the Mac ports use their own TGA loading code (which you can treat as a black box), but using QuickTime to load textures is also very easy (http://203.79.121.211/CVS/ , see QTValuePak).
