GL_EXT_texture_rectangle disappearance ?

Hi everyone,

I was in the process of matching specs for the various ‘texture rectangle’ extensions (EXT, NV, ARB_non_power_of_2 and ARB_tex_rect) - and it seems that the SGI extension registry has no trace of “GL_EXT_texture_rectangle” which is still reported to be supported at least by ATI drivers…

Does anyone know something about this extension, has it been superseeded by another?

NV, EXT, and ARB texture_rectangle are all the same extension.
