I downloaded a game but it wont open because it requires open Gl 1.2 or above. How do i upgrade? my graphics controller is:

recommendation - nVidia Geforce 8 series or better.
If it’s a laptop you’re probably SOL.
According to the Intel site (http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/sb/CS-004662.htm) this chip supports up to OpenGL 1.3 so it should work (for certain definitions of “work”). Possible cause is that you are using a generic driver from either Microsoft or the manufacturer that does not come with updated OpenGL support, and solution is to download and install the latest driver from Intel.
Be warned that Intel’s OpenGL support can be very poor, and that even if you do upgrade the driver, things are not guaranteed to perform well.
