environemental cube mapping

could someone explain how to do environemental cube mapping (which extension, how to use it), or give me a link to a tutorial about it

Never used it (yet), but you can start by looking at the OpenGL extension registry . Look at ARB-extension #7. Not a tutorial, but an explanation on how to use it/how it works.
