Does OpenGL need premade 3D models? I was woundering becuz’ Dark Basic needs them…
Hey there, I used to use DB WAY back when it was a baby, before 3d gamemaker and all that. I even wrote a little animator for making the .X models limbs move and saves the data to reuse it. heh
You should probably use “premade” models which you can make in a modelling program, and learn how to load them with OpenGL code. There are a BUNCH of tutorials all over, check out Nehe and GameTutorials.com I think one of them has a model loading demo for you.
