Do any gfx cards not support VBOs?

How crap a gfx card does someone have to have for it not to support vertex buffer objects?

You can find such info at http://delphi3d.net/hardware/listreports.php

S3 stuff, Voodoo, Rage 128, …

hahaha…Voodoo, Rage…I used those for Quake 2. Total crap.

Those cards were awesome for the day. I had a great time with my old Integraph something or other, using that great old Glide API

Quake2 total crap? Beats shucking mountain oysters.

Keep in mind that if someone has RIVA TNT2 (people still have it) he may have old drivers that do not support VBO, so displaying when VBO’s are not present “Update your drivers” would be nice I guess.
I support both just in case

I actually ran into a few Intel notebook chipsets that didn’t support VBOs. Those were mostly two year old chips where the manufacturer decided not to ship new drivers. In that case, you’re out of luck. Then again, I’m not sure they have dedicated vid-mem anyway, so using vertex arrays might be as good as it gets.
