Cube disappears when I zoom out

I have this cube set up in my app for a class. I’m messing with the viewpoints and I’m getting some strange results with my cube once I take the viewpoint far away from the lookAt point (which I’m not changing at all). I’m sure my instructor went over this in class on how to push this farther back, but I can’t find this in my notes?

Anyways the once zoomed out, the backend of the cube or whatever side i’m zooming away from just dissolve in the background which I cleared to black.

the last parameter is the distance of the far clipping plane

Yes it’s the solution but be carefull :

more the far clip plane is far, more you lose z-buffer precision for models rendered near you.
