Does anybody know a nice way to create GL Lists from a map file (like .bsp …).
IMHO it is not a good idea to put the whole map (.bsp) into a one display list because it`s slow to display the whole level if you can see only a part of it.
So… what’s your solution?

Load your map file in a structure like octree or bsp, then select polygone who might me drawn, and draw them with vertex arrays.
