Could not load OpenGL subsystem

UNBELIAVABLE! I just did the MatLab thing, and suddenly, it all came back!!!
I just went to the task manager and remove those 2 items!
You are a god. I have been looking for the answer to this for more than 6 months!
Thanks a lot!!!

The files opengl32.dll and glu32.dll must be in your path. I had glu32.dll, but not opengl32.dll. I found a copy of opengl32.dll in C:\WINNT\OldServicePackFiles\i386. Copied it to the windows/system32 directory and it works now!

WAIT THAT GIVES ME AN IDEA…ummmm do you guys have the latest opengl download??? i mean the opengl32.dll …i need it and i want to check somthing out

Kestral, if you download the new Nvidia driver (53.03), it has opengl 1.4 in it.
Tha´s all you have to do. Unfortunatley sometimes that is not enough top get your games to work.
To get the driver, just go to Nvidia.com, and then drivers.

You know jedi knight 2 does not work…but quake 3 doesn’t do that can not load opengl subsystem…it works fine…i am very curisous…

Maybe its not our opengl but something is causing our opengl to screw up like that pixel format thing or somthing

Hey guess what i am going to show!!!

YEAH, I think you are right! Now that you mentioned, my problems began when I instaled Matlab!!!
I will try unistaling it later.
Finally, I have hope!!

WTF IS MATLAB??

WHAT IS MATLAB,if someone has it it is always the case of why open gl does not work becasue it runns in the background and it changes settings

if u have matlab disable

MatLab is math software. I don´t know the reason, but it screws up your open GL.
