What can i do to fix it?

Edit c:\windows\win.ini file.
Look for a line saying ADV=0.
Put that line in comment with a “;”.
Retry gamme.

It’s a little hard to say without knowing the exact specs of your notebook, but there are a couple of other possibilities.

  1. Incompatible.

First: Most video games that are graphic intensive have a minimum requirement of 16MB video RAM, and in fact just won’t play very well with anything less than 64MB video ram, 256MB system ram, fast drives, something in the neighborhood of a 1GHZ processor and not a lot of background tasks. This is definitely true of Alice.

Either way, most laptops made before the last two years, and even some new ones will
have a very bare bones video card, with very little RAM, they just aren’t built for games that use serious 3D. Laptops can’t be upgraded to a better video card, as this is built into the motherboard. One possible workaround (only for some laptops) is if you can obtain a docking station that takes full sized PCI cards, you may be able to run a second monitor off of a PCI card that has the specs you need. I’m not aware of any docks that offer AGP, but if one exists, that would maybe do the trick as well. Just make sure if you do this that the new card has the right specs, and that you have all of the other requirements met.

Second: Make sure your card has sufficient OpenGL support, many notebook cards do not.

  1. If none of the above are the problem make sure your video drivers are up to date.

Hope this helps
