Conference/shortcourse recommend? SIGGRAPH?

I am interested in attending a conference or a short course at a conference (probably short course is more of interest) for better understanding OpenGL and Windows at an intermediate level.

In particular, I’m looking for development help in multi-GPU (multiple GPUs per card and multiple cards per box) and multi-core environments under WinXP and Vista.

Does anyone have recommendations? Is SIGGRAPH a good option? If so, any recommendations with regard to short courses?
