compressed meshes?

Is it possible to use in WebGL compressed meshes?
(e.g. 194kb spline based “bike” :slight_smile:
VRML models are usually compressed 5-6 times by gzip.
And is it useful? (I think that routers can make compression “on fly” too).

.htaccess is used to force server to compress on fly html files. Just click a picture to get deflated 5-6 times model.
