Compact G-Buffer Normals in World-Space

I’m storing full fat world-space normals in my G-Buffer but I’ve been searching for encoding techniques that would “best” compact them efficiently. After stumbling on Aras Pranckevičius blog I was interested in using “Spheremap Transform” however this uses view-space normals :frowning:

Wondering if anyone knows more suited techniques for world-space normals or has a suggestion to be able to use “Spheremap Transform”?
