Foster City, California - August 19th, 2005 - Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. announces the release of COLLADA v1.3.1, now available at the http://collada.org web site. COLLADA is an open and extensible database schema that enables applications to interchange 3D content. 3Dlabs, Ageia, Alias, Autodesk M&E, Emdigo, Feeling Software, Softimage, and Sony Computer Entertainment are pleased to announce the third release of COLLADA to the interactive 3D industry. COLLADA v1.3.1 is a patch release that fixes bugs and clarifies and strengthens the schema contraints for validating parsers.
