Is there a method of checking if the system’s video card has hardware support for the accumulation buffer?
I’ve recently tried adding a motion blur effect to the scene in our game using the accumulation buffer, however it slows it down from about 80fps to 4fps. This could very well be due to the fact my card doesn’t have hardware support for the accumulation buffer. As such I’d like to be able to check before applying the effect.
