SOMEONE PLZ EMAIL ME!! i cant figure this out, im on an sis 630/730 chipset, no problem running ANY other games…something with the open GL multitexture
I figured out the problem. No1 - if you downloaded call of duty, and your using an emulator instead of burning it - this could be the reason your having problems. I can’t explain why it works when you burn it, but it worked for me. I was having the problem of “configure.csv is missing” but when I burned it and re-installed it… for some reason it worked fine. So if your using the pirated one… this might work for you. If you bought… I have no idea.

First of all, who in the God’s hell gave you the license of calling people dumbass, you stupid head.
Did your mom never taught you why demos are made? Well if she didn’t then I pity on you!
Demos are made for the marketing of the product, more people will like it and buy it, its like a preview to the movie. So, whats wrong in trying it??

Its no longer a demo, the game went gold and you can actually BUY it. However some CLEVER people got a pirated rip of the game and now crying a river that its not working.

Progra~1 is a DOS shortname for a file whose primary name extends 11 character. Its not German or Latin or French.

What a blatant error on your part. Like Niel said, it’s just a truncated name for a path that exceeds the 8.3 naming convention.
Wow. Get a hobby that doesn’t involve showing what an ass you can be.

No, nothing yet except I buy a good graphics card that CoD supports.
But I wondering to attempt something like this:
If you have ever played Hitman 2: The Silent Assassin, you probably would know that it doesn’t works directly on Intel 810 chipset or Direct 3D. But if I go to hitman2.ini file and then edit the name of my graphics card and my Direct 3D to Opengl it works well. What I am thinking to do is reinstall CoD, go to some main configuration file in that and in the same way edit the name of my graphics card so that when I start the game instead of saying
[b]GL_VENDOR: Intel
GL_RENDERER: Intel 810/810E
[/b] it would say [b]GL_VENDOR: ATI®
GL_RENDERER: Radeon 9800[/b]
I would try it next time, and see if it works. Anyone else has anyother idea on what to do that doesn’t cost much money??
