To all my knowledge, they support ATI as well. That’s the beauty of having card-specific support only in a very small backend. They also support standard OpenGL with multipass rendering… It’s really very flexible, and the idea is that hardware vendors write the backend for their own hardware in the future (well, we’ll se what will happen to that…)
