ARB_VBO, one VBO per Stream/Channel/Attrib

Anyone tried to use one VBO per channel/stream/attrib (Pos, Normal…), instead of a single VBO for many ?

Any idea on the performance issues that can arise from such an use of VBO ?

For my animate mesh I use 2 VBO, one for static things (texcoord) and a dynamic other for pos. Didn’t notice any change, but I didn’t dig so much.
