another thing about parallax maping

I’ve noticed that if you cycle scale and bias values for offset, you get some sort of fluid animation, not very bad-looking. Maybe somebody could make some use of it?

Hmm, as well you could use sin/cos (especially on NV3+), but bugged app looks realy nice (fluiding, if the map is noise…).

BTW, just noticed that there is a whole lotta unencrypted cg shaders in FarCry Demo, nice source to learn. I’d like to know how they managed all that bunch of parameters to pass.
