Anisotropic filtering for 3D textures

Hi there

Is anisotropic filtering for 3D textures supported? The spec is a bit unclear (“Not sure.” - in the issues section).

The thing is, on my Radeon 9600 with latest drivers i can enable anisotropic filtering for 3D textures, but the result is buggy and ugly.

I would think, that if it is not supported for 3D textures, the driver wouldn´t do anything different with anisotropy enabled. But it does.
